I Have Decided to Dabble in the World of Freelance Writing

I have always written since I can remember and would dream of making it big someday as a writer. As a little girl, I wrote tons of poems and even won a few contests with them.  By the time high school and college rolled around, I actually enjoyed writing book reports and term papers — crazy I know!  So, I've been thinking — scary, huh — and realized that this would be a great time for me to start seeing where my writing can go. Grady is going to start preschool one day a week in the fall, so I will have a few hours to write my heart out without interruptions — not that my kids EVER bother me or anything!  


I have my resume and writing samples submitted to a few companies and I'll keep you posted on how it goes!
